Since the beginning, we have been pushing harder and harder for better awareness of mental health within the rural sectors.
Our amazing team is constantly finding new ways to help and support people – whether that’s on social media, through news outlets, or in person at shows and events.
By working and teaming up with well-known faces in the industry, we aim to show that even they struggle, how they cope with their highs and lows, and what helps them. In doing so, we provide new perspectives and different ways for people to seek help and support themselves.
In 2023, we were absolutely thrilled and honoured to be nominated and become a finalist at the prestigious British Farming Awards for Digital Creator of the Year and again in 2025.
We’ve also had the pleasure of hosting a large stand at the Nottinghamshire County Show in 2022, alongside the Farming Community Network, and in 2024 with Peacock and Binnington Tractors at the Lincolnshire County Show.
Working alongside major charities, we were invited to the Houses of Parliament to speak with MPs about the issues facing farmers. Raising important questions and having in depth discussions about changes within agriculture and the impact that it was having on UK farmers.
We have worked alongside the National Federation of Young Farmers to gain the reach into more young farmers in the industry and have done talks at a handful of YFC clubs. By working alongside the young farmers it gives chance for the message to reach a younger audience and new ways and means for the younger generations to reach out.
We were privileged to have been involved with the Back British Farming and Mental health tractor run which completed the nearly 4000 mile costal circuit of the UK in 7 days. The JCB fastrac used was driven by a team of 14 drivers and visited a multitude of places and people on its mammoth adventure.
Two drivers from the JTA team took the tractor from Lands End in Cornwall to Dover in Kent. Nearly 400 miles later and a straight 18 hours, travelling through some of the most breath-taking scenery and historic beauty the southern coast has to offer. The team arrived to meet a group of Kent YFC members and the next pair of drivers who would take the tractor back round the coast of Norfolk and into Lincolnshire.
The main goal of the tractor run was to raise funds and awareness for the Yellow Wellies mind your head campaign and over £12,000 was raised for charity.
The mammoth run finished a day ahead of schedule, after which it took pride of place at Lincolnshire show "The Big Day Out" on stand with main sponsor Peacock and Binnington. After the show it was involved with in the Cleethorpes Carnival for thousands of spectators to view and enjoy its story told by the commentators.
In 2023 and again in 2025 we have been absolutely thrilled to be recognised for the category of content creator of the year at the British Farming Awards. The award gives the team the recognition they deserve for their hard work towards helping those who need it within the rural sectors.
Talking to other nominees in different categories allowed us to share what our mission is and listen to what issues others within the industry were facing and what could be implemented to help.
Being nominated alongside such incredible creators is such an acknowledgement and honour for the whole team.
In 2023, the parents of Leonard Eadon went above and beyond to raise money and help those struggling within the industry.
We hosted a small event near Newark, Nottinghamshire on their trip from John o' Groats to Lands End in a tractor.
Getting local Nottinghamshire yfc clubs involved with the event allowed for the continued link with the federation of young farmers.
Many familiar faces and likeminded farmers have helped us along the way some of which are highlighted below.

"I've always liked to help others get involved into the agricultural industry. We all get stuck in together and it makes the days more enjoyable. Being friends working together as a team. Young farmers helped me massively over the years to create a strong friendship group that in turn helps me when needed. From day to day jobs to mental health advice its always helped me along the way and I'm grateful for the opportunities its arose for me".
