Our mission continues on social media to better mental health awareness and farm safety.
By getting familiar faces and likeminded farmers onboard we spread the message across our socials. Sharing their personal messages and how they combat their struggles so those watching may have chance to try a new way to reach out and seek the help they may need.
We follow algorithms and insights to keep the content fresh and aimed at the right target audience. This being the rural sector in the age bracket of 18 to 35 with the age going as low as 13 for new entrants into the industry and social media.
By aiming at the younger audiences we feel the content will make an impact on them, giving them the knowledge and pathways to follow should they or someone around them struggle. And the signs they might see if someone around them is stuggling.
By collaborating with other creators we can spread the message to a wider audience and to someone who may need some support and means of reaching out for help.
Tom had the pleasure talking to Wallace Currie on his podcast about all things farming and mental health in the industry.
Wallace had been nominated in the same content creator category at the 2025 British Farming Awards. A real recognition for both the Rural 2 Kitchen podcast and ourselves at Just Talk Agriculture.
A new start-up; the Powerful Minds podcast by Matt Hamilton, a former police officer and butcher. The podcast will be that personal reach, dedicated to inspiring personal growth and resilience through real stories and expert insights.
As Matts first proper recording we were privileged to be invited along for this incredible step in what will turn out to be an amazing mix of both motivational and inspirational conversations.
