The Moment Just Talk Agriculture Stepped Into Its Future 

A key part of this journey began in February 2026, when Ryan Hanson officially joined the team. During early conversations, the idea was raised about taking Just Talk Agri from a passionate community group into something bigger, something formal, sustainable, and capable of reaching more people across the UK. Ryan saw this not just as an opportunity, but as a challenge worth taking on. While others were working hard on farms, managing livestock, and keeping their businesses moving, Ryan dedicated himself to the administrative backbone needed to transform Just Talk Agri into a charity.

Over the next four months, Ryan completed the extensive work required to meet Charity Commission standards: drafting policies, writing mission statements, building safeguarding frameworks, preparing governance documents, and ensuring every detail aligned with CIO requirements. It was a demanding process, often unseen by the public, but absolutely essential to our future. His determination, organisation, and commitment gave Just Talk Agri the foundation it needed to take the next step.

On 24th June 2026, that hard work paid off. Just Talk Agriculture was officially awarded charity status, a date we now celebrate as the birthday of Just Talk Agriculture (CIO). This achievement reflects the dedication of the whole team, but it is fair to say that without Ryan’s drive and persistence, we would not be celebrating this milestone today. His efforts turned an idea into a reality and opened the door to a new era for our organisation.

Becoming a charity strengthens our ability to deliver meaningful impact. It allows us to expand our educational resources, build new partnerships, support independent fundraisers, and continue our presence at agricultural shows across the country. It gives us the structure to grow, the credibility to reach more people, and the stability to ensure our mission lasts long into the future.

Most importantly, this milestone reinforces the message at the heart of Just Talk Agri: no one in agriculture should face difficult moments alone. Whether someone is dealing with stress, isolation, financial pressure, or personal challenges, we are here to provide pathways to support, trusted information, and a community that listens without judgement.

Our transformation into a CIO is not the end of a journey, it is the beginning of a new chapter. One built on community, compassion, and the belief that talking can change lives. We are proud of how far we’ve come, and even more proud of what lies ahead.
